About four years ago, I came down with a disabling disease, polymyositis. Since then, I knew I wouldn't be able to be a Machinist anymore. I'd been doing freelance Artwork off and on for 32 years, and a friend had train me in Photo Restoration, so I decided to try to make a living at both. I was originally trained in Fine Art, but through the years, I've also done Graphic and Illustration. But while being on S.S. Disability, I recieved training on a computer, with Photoshop 5.0, Illustrator 8.0, QuarkXpress 4.0, Painter 5. I've always liked painting, drawing and photography so I have a tendency to do whatever in those mediums.
